VENUE CHANGE – WESTFIELD FFA CUP, ZONE FINAL

April 21st, 2016

The Zone Final of the Westfield FFA Cup for NCF had been moved from Cex Stadium to Polwarth Drive on Tuesday the 26th of April with kick-off at 7.00pm.

NCF General Manager, Reuben Robertson said he was disappointed in having to make the last minute change of venue, but issues with the stadium surface as a result of the Sheffield Shield wicket made it impractical to use the stadium venue.

Clearly we would prefer to stage such a high profile match at the Stadium, but we are very thankful to Coffs Coast Tigers for making their Club available at such short notice. Reuben added that the move will not detract from what will be another fantastic match up of arguably the two best teams in our Zone. With Coffs City United looking to make it back to back Leo Baumgartner Memorial Trophies, and Urunga Raiders looking to reclaim some pride after last weeks loss to the Lions, I expect to see some high quality football.
