Trials at the end of march for Early SAP Program

EARLY SKILL ACQUISITION PHASE PROGRAM (ESAP) (7 – 9 YEARS OLD)

What is it?

The Early Skill Acquisition Phase (ESAP) is a program focusing on mastering the ball for talented players in the NCF Zone aged 7-9 over 20 weeks from April to September.

The ESAP program focuses on mastering the ball. Seeking to develop creative players who love having the ball at their feet and can make the correct decisions when under pressure. The rich variety of movements, technical actions and decision-making developed in the ESAP phase can help develop highly skilled and well-rounded, confident young people

Aim

The aim is to provide the necessary technical ‘tools’ to players in order to help them be able to play the game at the highest possible level with a focus on functional game skills:

Fundamental core skills

The Skill Acquisition Program focuses on the development of the four core skills:

  • 1v1
  • First Touch
  • Striking the ball
  • Running with the ball

When & Where?

The 2022 ESAP program will hold trials on Monday 28th of March & Monday 4th of April from 4:00pm-5:15pm at Leisure Park Synthetics, Coffs Harbour.

The ESAP program will commence on 2 May 2022 and will continue until 19 September 2022. Sessions will be held every Monday from 4.15 pm to 5:15pm.
