May 9th, 2017

Northern NSW Football’s Miniroos Development Officer Tom Oldaker will be travelling to the North Coast today to deliver ALDI MiniRoos Certificates at local football clubs across the week.

The ALDI MiniRoos Certificate is for coaches, managers and parents involved with ALDI MiniRoos teams from the U6-U11 age group.

It is a great course that provides all attendees with a better understanding of what ALDI MiniRoos football is all about. It gives coaches tips on how to start practices quickly, keep the children engaged and how to make training fun.

The main learning outcomes of the ALDI MiniRoos Certificate include;

  • Let the children learn football by playing football,
  • Limit the amount of coaching involved just encourage the children and
  • Use animation and storytelling to make simple games fun.

Coaches for U12 and U13 teams with no coaching accreditation are encouraged to also attend this course.

The course is FREE and takes around 90 minutes to complete.
