A tough day at the office after a very positive start for the North Coast Football Northern NSW NPL Squads.
After earlier results against: Valentine v NCF 9th March (U13’s 7-0 up, U14’s 10-0 up, U15’s 5-0 up, U16’s 5-1 up) and Lambton v NCF 16th March (U13’s 2-1 down, U14’s 2-1 up, U15’s 6-2 up, U16’s 6-1 up)
U13’s – Hamilton 10 v NCF 1 (Lachlan Marchant)
A tough encounter against a high quality opposition who played simple structured football. Lachlan Marchant was able to capitalise on a missed penalty in the first half to drive home the rebound.
U14’s – Hamilton 8 v NCF 1 (Ama Mite)
Outclassed today by a quality, well drilled opposition. Low fitness levels in hot conditions were a telling factor in a one sided encounter. A good breakaway goal from Ama Mite salvaged some pride for the visitors.
U15’s – Hamilton 0 v NCF 0
A hard fought nil all draw, the NCF boys had ample opportunity however were unable to capitalise on numerous chances to grab the points.
U16’s – Hamilton 4 v NCF 1 (Mabior Garang)
A tough encounter against a high quality, organised opponent. NCF launched a late comeback however were unable sustain the intensity to finish the task. Mabior Garang made the most of some messy defence to finish and drag the score back to 3-1 at half time.
