U13’s NCF 5 v Edgeworth 0
NCF came out strongly from the first touch and kept pressuring Edgeworth in their own half. A goal from Edgeworth ignited the team with shots on goal coming from all directions, resulting in a 4 -0 lead to NCF at half time. Edgeworth came out with more determination in the second half but NCF remained committed and composed which allowed the team to continue to dominate creating a 5th goal for NCF. The Midfield and the backs held their ground and the few shots Edgeworth had were swallowed up by Loki in goal. Given NCF played the entire game with only one substitute, this was a dominant and quality performance.

U14’s NCF 3 v Edgeworth 2
NCF 14’s came out on top of a tight encounter 3 goals to 2. The local boys lead 1-0 at half time off the head of Ryan Gregorovic and further extended their lead through Ama Mite early in the second half. Edgeworth dragged one back soon after and continued to press the NCF defence until a second strike from Ama Mite with 10 minutes remaining allowed some breathing space. Edgeworth continued to pile on the pressure though and struck a goal back to make it 3-2 with 10 minutes remaining. A spirited effort in defence however saw NCF eventual victors.

U15’s NCF 4 v Edgeworth 3
The NCF 15’s had a close victory today against the Edgeworth Eagles. The boys were very wasteful with possession & nearly paid the ultimate price with their willingness to try & score from impossible positions. Ultimately though they were very lucky to walk away with a 4-3 victory. Baden Rees scored 2, whilst Jacob Field & Levi Wilson scored one each.

U16’s NCF 3 v Edgeworth 0
The U16s had a comfortable 3-0 win against Edgeworth. The 1st half started with NCF pressuring Edgeworth’s defence from the outset, from pressing confidently, transitioning quickly with confident passing allowed us to dominate possession in the opposition’s half. Players found space to attack from the wings regularly, resulting in many scoring opportunities being created. Noah Armstrong scored 1st and then followed up by Mabior Garang; a constant threat throughout the game up forward and Zane Skrtic scoring as well, meaning we were 3-0 at half time. The 2nd half continued in the same vain with Edgeworth being on the back foot, further emphasised by an Edgeworth red card. Switching play and turning defence into attack, we again constantly created scoring opportunities, Edgeworth’s defensive attitude was amplified after going down to 10 men, keeping us from scoring. Finishing the game 3-0, everybody contributed in a great team effort.
