North Coast Football (NCF) today has announced their new Technical Director (TD), National Premier League (NPL) Victoria heavyweight Avondale Football Club TD, Jack Dover.
Jack is a skilful coach with over five years experience working in youth development from grassroots to the professional level.
With impressive coaching experience working with and as Avondale FC TD and Football Victoria’s (FV) NTC, Jack has also been assistant coach for FFV’s Skilleroos, Melbourne City, Rowville Sports Academy and FFV’s Talent Identification Centre (TIDC).
Jack has accomplished his studies in Sports Coaching and Physical Education, Minoring in Sports Management at Victoria University and has also completed his FFA B Licence.
As Technical Director, Jack will closely monitor the development of players engaged in NCF’s Player Development Programs, including the Skill Acquisition Programs (SAP) and NPL Northern NSW.
NCF President Wendy Schafer is thrilled to welcome Jack on board as TD and cannot wait to see how much he will be able to help develop player pathways within the region.
“Jack’s experience and qualifications will be very beneficial to our player development programs and club’s alike within the region… We are thrilled to have him on board,” Schafer said.
Jack is looking forward to commencing his role at NCF to work with the coaches and players within the region.
“I am very much looking forward to working with North Coast Football and Northern NSW Football’s Technical Director in creating a clear pathway for coaches and players within the region,” Dover said.
“I am also very excited to begin building a positive coaching network within the NCF region, I am very motivated and determined to be here which is why I made the move from Melbourne to support both coach and player development.’’
Jack will commence his role from Thursday, 25th July 2019 and will be completing his FFA A Licence in September.
