There was some sad news at NCF headquarters this week with news that Technical Director, Jack Dover, is heading north to take up a role with Football Queensland in Brisbane.
“It’s sad for us but exciting for jack,” NCF GM Andrew Woodward said.
Jack Dover will be leaving after Easter and joining Football Queensland’s technical department as Club Development Ambassador – Community Coaching.
“Having been with NCF since mid-2019, Jack has helped take our player development program to a new level. His replacement will have plenty to go on with.
“While we’re sad to see Jack go, we’re excited for him personally and grateful for what’s he’s done for NCF,” Andrew said.
Jack said he’d enjoyed his two years on the North Coast after coming from Melbourne.
“It has been a pleasure to work with the staff, players and families of North Coast Football over the past two years.
“I have taken great pride representing the organisation and providing platforms of development for our players and staff,” he said.
NCF has advertised for a replacement for Jack,
“Next week, we’ll be talking with the Player Development Program coaches on the transition, interim arrangements, and training plans. We’re aiming to make it ‘business as usual’ until his replacement starts,” Andrew said.
“We’re looking for a dynamic, innovative and creative professional manager to lead our coaches and players by developing a compelling regional football program,” he said.
