NCF held its NPL Awards Night on Tuesday 24 November 2020, ending a longer than usual year for the girls and boys in navy and orange from the Coffs and Clarence.
On the night, players and families heard from coaches, players and NCF officials on the season that just was.
Attendees also farewelled the Under 16’s team who made the semi-finals in 2020. As under 15’s in 2019, under 14’s in 2018 and under 13’s in 2017 many members of this squad won grand finals.
The NCF player of the year was Jacob Field from the Under 16’s and the Goal Keeper of the year was Ashton Herbert form the Under 13’s.
The guest speaker on the night was Scott Ryan form the A-League club, Western United FC. Scott started his playing career as a six-year-old with the Orara Valley Dingoes. He addressed the players in a Q&A with Technical Director, Jack Dover.
