Level 4 Referee’s course in Coffs Harbour

A referee’s course aimed at match officials officiating in junior and youth matches is being held in Coffs Harbour on December 2.

Running from 9am to 4pm at the Cavanbah Centre, the course facilitator on the day will Brad Carlin (NNSWF Senior Officer – Match Official Administration and Development) assisted by NCF presenters.

To undertake this training program you must be at least 13 years of age and have successfully passed the online Laws of the Game within the past two years.

The program consists of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee.
Upon completion of all components referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years.

The registration cost for the course is $50 and all registrations should be completed by November 30 via https://education-ffa.sportingpulse.com/Entry/?EID=19135.

Participants should wear casual clothing and bring a pen and notepaper with them on the day. They’re also asked to bring their lunch and drink with them to the Cavanbah Centre.

The course registration fee includes the cost of a 2017/18 Laws of the Game Book which will be issued to participants on the day.

Anyone who wants to referee 11 v 11 football at a local level should do this course, remembering that accreditation is compulsory in accordance with FFA National Registration Regulations.
