Ladder leaders Bellingen FC take on the Tigers

May 4th, 2022

AN AUSTRALIA Cup rematch headlines Round 6 of the Coastal Premier League season this weekend.

Ladder leaders Bellingen FC go for their sixth win in a row when they take on the Coffs Coast Tigers at the Coffs Synthetics.

The two clubs last met in this year’s Australia Cup, in which the Tigers took the honours with a 3-1 victory.

Coffs City United Lions also look to continue their own winning streak as they travel to play the Taree Wildcats.

The Lions will be going for their fifth win in a row, while the Wildcats are at the opposite end of the spectrum as they search for their first points of the season.

The Sawtell Scorpions are at home to the Macleay Valley Rangers, as they look to end a run of three straight losses.

The Scorpions play host to a Rangers side coming off a 1-1 draw with the Boambee Bombers, as Macleay Valley go for their first win of the season.

The Boambee Bombers and Northern Storm both head to Port Macquarie for Round 6 this weekend, as the Bombers take on Port United and the Storm play the Port Saints.

The Bombers sit in third spot on the ladder and face a Port United side looking to break into the top four with a victory.

The Northern Storm will look to bounce back from an ANZAC Cup loss to the Lions when they take on a Port Saints side sitting fourth on the ladder.

Round 6 also sees the Kempsey Saints playing host to Southern United.
