The local football community is one of the beneficiaries of a renovated and expanded amenities block at Iluka.
The new-look facility at Ken Leeson Oval has been all cisterns go since opening a few weeks back – and will be used by football, cricket and rugby union.
Clarence Valley Council received $500,000 in grant money, and tipped in the remainder to cover the $565,000 project.
Council’s Senior Parks and Recreation Officer, Rachelle Passmore, said the facility would serve the community year-round.
