Football in the Clarence is suspended

March 3rd, 2022
Northern NSW Football has suspended all football activity in flood-affected areas. In the North Coast Football Zone, at this time, that takes in the Clarence Valley LGA. Football is suspended in the Clarence Valley LGA until 21 March 2022 at the earliest.
It is ‘football-as-usual’ in the Coffs Harbour City, Nambucca Valley and Bellingen local government areas.
The situation will be reassessed at this time as to when football activity will resume and when the season will start. Between now and then, clubs are not required to undertake any football activities, including playing, training, attending meetings, or meeting NCF, NNSWF or FA deadlines.
Of course, we’re available to talk to any club during this time to provide whatever assistance we can. But as a general comment, we’ll leave the people in the Clarence to deal with their issues and those of their families, communities, and businesses.
