Cinema Under the Stars

North Coast Football’s Major Sponsor Newcastle Permanent set up their Annual Cinema Under the Stars over the weekend, with thousands coming down to the Coffs Showground  to watch the family favourite Zootopia, and in Grafton on Friday to watch Kung Fu Panda 3.

On Saturday, Boambee FC put on a fantastic BBQ and were represented by Fiona Barden, Kevin Davey and Glenn and Nicole Bennet. The Coffs Coast Tigers came down to run the Small Sided Football in Newcastle Permanent’s impressive blow up soccer field, with President Mellessa Bennet marshalling the kids on the field, and Senior Coach Jason Snell marshalling the long line of kids waiting to get on the field.

Jason was joined by Luke Kliendienst and Luke Stow who were also on site to help out wherever possible.

On Friday, Grafton City United were set up at the entry to register players and run the Small Sided Football. Coutts Crossing had a huge amount of Volunteers cooking Steak Sandwich’s, Sausages and plenty more. A huge thank you to all clubs involved for representing local grassroots football.

Newcastle Permanent supports local football, so it was great to see so many families from the football community getting out to support Newcastle Permanent and enjoy the free event.
