Bellingen FC is the latest club to achieve four-star accreditation in the National Club Development Program.
The achievement was the result of ongoing commitment to improvement from club president Peter Barron and the Bellingen FC committee.
The Bellingen region is a vibrant community which is reflected in a progressive football club. Bellingen FC have welcomed a growing membership in recent years and have been accepted into the Coastal Premier League (CPL) for the first time this season, joining 11 other clubs in a men’s competition spanning from Forster to Coffs Harbour.
“Club president Peter has engaged with the program on behalf of Bellingen FC to complete the questions and adopt a number of policies with the aim to improve the club’s governance,” NNSWF Club Development Officer Phillip Andrews said.
“The NCDP identifies areas for improvement and provides clubs with an action plan for future development. The work done to achieve this accreditation places clubs in a better position to reach goals and continue to deliver a positive football experience for their community.
“Bellingen FC continues to support female football through fielding strong female youth teams each season and steadily growing female MiniRoos participants. The club is proud of this success and is looking forward to the challenges of the season ahead.
“The NCDP continues to provide a tool for clubs to identify goals while making resources available to achieve success. We wish Bellingen FC all the best for their further growth and development in years to come.”
