NATIONAL COACHING SCHEME
Football Federation Australia has established a Coaching Accreditation Structure within the National Coaching Scheme.
A range of Coach Education Courses are available to assist in the development of coaches at all levels of ability in modern coaching and training methodology.
There is a course available and suitable for all coaches from the inexperienced to the professional. Should you require assistance in choosing a course that is appropriate to your needs please contact the
NNSW Soccer Federation.
Candidates should be aware of the following general requirements:
* candidates must be at least 15 years of age to enrol in state conducted accreditation courses 'Junior License, Youth License, Intermediate License, Senior License and State License;
* candidates must meet the enrolment requirements for each course;
* all accreditation courses are conducted in English;
* candidates must have the opportunity to obtain credit for prior learning and relevant experience where applicable;
* accreditation courses are delivered through State Soccer Federations and approved course instructors authorised by Soccer Australia;
* an application form and course program can be obtained from the State Federation or authorised provider; and
* all courses involve practical work and whilst participation is encouraged it is not obligatory and arrangements will be made to assist those candidates with learning difficulties or disabilities.
Course candidates can expect to receive:
* professional delivery of the course syllabus;
* an outline of the candidates' responsibilities and what is expected on the course;
* identified course objectives and outcomes;
* an explanation of the course assessment procedures and timelines for assignments;
* the use of appropriate equipment and facilities; and
* the development of an action plan for ongoing coach education and updating.
